The Gold Standard for Roofing Decisions.
Wildwoods Hospitality Roof Mapping Initiative
A roof-asset research initiative serving the Wildwoods hospitality community.
Objectives & Scope
The Initiative is intended to help Wildwoods hotel and motel owners better understand aging roof assets, historical changes, coastal exposure, future capital needs, and opportunities to avoid premature replacement where existing roof assemblies remain serviceable.
The research supports preliminary roof-asset research and capital planning.
HOW THE RESEARCH WORKS
01
Historical Aerial Imagery
Historical and current aerial imagery can help document visible roof changes and property evolution over time.
02
LiDAR & Geospatial Data
Public geospatial datasets provide additional context for roof geometry, elevations, and surrounding site conditions.
03
Drone & Thermal Data
Drone and thermal imagery may be incorporated where available to support roof-condition research and documentation.
04
Roof Condition & Capital Planning
Available roof information is organized to help owners identify maintenance priorities and make better-informed capital-planning decisions.

Jolly Roger Motel Case Study
Timeline
2021–2026
Asset Size
Approximately 17,500 sq. ft.
Strategy
Phased roof asset management
Fiscal Outcome
≈60% lower modeled initial capital requirement
Over a five-year period, the Jolly Roger Motel used a phased roof-asset management strategy rather than treating its aging multi-section roof as one immediate replacement event. Sections were addressed according to condition, active needs, material compatibility, and capital-planning priorities. A planning-level comparison indicates that the phased strategy required approximately 60% less initial capital than modeled complete-replacement alternatives.
Request a preliminary roof intelligence report for your property in advance of fiscal year 2027 capital planning.
